April Robinson Obituary

April Marie Robinson was born on September 16th, 1965 to the late Bessie Rose Hayward (Alphonso Hayward, Sr.) and Jerry Smith. She attended Englewood High School in Jacksonville Florida.  She was employed by Walmart/McDonalds for over 9 years.

April attended Southside Church of God in Christ. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and her testimony was “I’m thankful for God’s grace and mercy. I’m proud to be His child and I’m thankful to be covered in His blood.” April loved her family and especially her grandchildren.  She loved to cook and serve her family and was the social director for the entire family.  She planned ALL family events and enjoyed every minute!

Ms. Robinson went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019. She was preceded in death by her son, Terrance Calvin Taylor; sisters, Arleen Robinson, Becky Robinson and Luella Smith.

April leaves to cherish her precious memories, Tyrone Taylor; children, Lori Robinson, Brandon Taylor, Latisha Taylor and Samaiyah Harris; grandchildren, Serenity, Samiriyah, Treyuana, Jaliyah, Bra’nyah, Paris, Terri, Madison, Zi’yair, Terrance Jr., Eddie, Jamaury, Brandon Jr., Braylon and Ronald Jr.; 2 great grandchildren; brothers; Bernard Jackson (Jannell), Alphonso Hayward (Alicia), Tide Hayward, Marcus Hayward and Enoch Robinson; special niece, Amy Robinson; special sisters-in-law, Rhodann Mercer (Frederick), Sylinda Cohens and Brenda Smith; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
