Bernard Russell Jackson

Mr. Bernard Russell Jackson was born on May 4, 1949 to the parentage of Carl B. Jackson and Elsie Jackson in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. He attended the local schools of Duval County graduating from Douglas Anderson High School.

Bernard accepted Christ at an early age. He enjoyed playing chess, golfing, watching sports and shooting pool. He will always be remembered as a happy go person, friendly and always smiling.

Bernard answered his call peacefully and went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 26, 2018.

Bernard leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Hannibal Shakur (LaKeisha), Yolunda N. Cummings of Milford, Delaware; father, Carl. B. Jackson; siblings, Connie Jackson-Barrett, Carla Jesse (Sherman) and Dorothy Calhoun of Valdosta, Georgia; special friend, Anna; best friend, Michael Caine; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
