Chirvalarie (Valarie) was politically savvy, enjoyed cooking, sewing, listening to music, decorating and organizing for events and special occasion. She loved children, planning family vacations and animals. Valarie was simply caring, passionate, humorous and confident about life. She worked well with others and loved working with children and enriching their lives academically and socially. If I could use one word to describe her, the word is “Caring”.
Valarie had a unique way of expressing her words and thoughts that resulted in laughter or leaving you in awe; sometimes even questioning your own thoughts with laughter. Valarie was a “Jewel” and we were blessed to have her as a daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. We celebrate her life today because we know we will celebrate her again “On the Other Side”. We miss you and love you!!!
Valarie leaves to cherish her memories, mother, Ovelia Montelongo; aunt, Deloris Wilson; brothers, Ricky Morrell, Reyes Montelongo II and Jose Montelongo; sisters, Shyrell Brown, Lisa Wilson, Alishia Montelongo, Lisa Ann Montelongo and Vicktoria Montelongo; sister-in-law, Danika Montelongo; nephews and nieces, Montez Morrell, Rickita Morrell, Shariah Montelongo, Reyes Montelongo III and Jasai Montelongo; and a host of other family and friends.
