Connetta Oliver Albert

Connetta Maria Oliver Albert was born on May 13, 1956 to Susie Mae Butler and Willie C. Oliver. She transitioned peacefully on Christmas morning, December 25, 2018 surrounded by her loving family and devoted friends.

Connetta attended Peck High School and later Fernandina Beach High School graduating in 1974. She was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant in her early years, becoming a cosmetologist in 1982. She enjoyed reading her Bible, playing games, and spending time with her family.

Connetta is survived by two daughters, Carla Walker and Latari Walker-Alderman (Dion); grandchildren, Phercya, Dominic, Nyquiah, William, Bryeion, Talyr, Jaden and Gabrien; great-grandchildren, Dominic Jr. and Isaiah; her parents, Susie Mae Grant and Willie C. Oliver; brothers, Lawrence Williams, Roderick Odom, Antonio Ashley, and David Odom; sisters, Eugenia Butler and Quessie Ashley; aunts, Mildred Staten, Constance Sanford, Gwendolyn Hester and Gayle Taylor; uncles, Cornell Butler, Kenneth Butler (Angel), Theodore Butler, Garfield Flemming and Richard Butler; special friends, Mary Ann Tyler, Selene Justice, Sandy Iovino, Joe Walker, Sr., Fred Alderman, and Mr. Ray; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
