Darryl Johnson, Sr. Obituary

Darryl Lamar Johnson, Sr. was born on November 26, 1981 to James and Cassandra Peoples in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended the local schools of Duval County graduating from Ribault High School and attended some college.

Darryl was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys Fan. He was an awesome caregiver to his baby brother as well as to others. Growing up he loved Michael Jackson and could really dance. Darryl accepted Christ at an early age while attending church with his grandmother at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church.

Darryl quietly made his transition on Friday, December 20, 2019. He was preceded in death by his son, Darryl Lamar Johnson, Jr.; paternal grandparents, James and Myrtice Peoples; maternal grandparents, Earl Johnson, Sr. and Clara King; aunt, Jackie Peoples; uncles, Thomas Bynum, Clyde Porter and Augustus Peoples.

Darryl leaves to cherish his memories, his parents, James and Cassandra Peoples; brothers, Roderick Johnson, Kenyon Johnson (Jamie) and Bernard Johnson; aunt, Carolyn Howard (Lionel); uncles, Marvin McGill, Earl Johnson (Sylvia), Danny Johnson, Benjamin Johnson, Charles Johnson and David Beeks; nieces, Keria, Keyari, Kayla, Kayla P., Keonna, Kamari and Janiyah Johnson; nephews, Keith Johnson and Bernard Johnson, Jr.; favorite cousins, Shana and Lil Earl; befriend, Beenie; and a host of other relatives and friends.
