Deacon John Charles Trotter was born on October 5, 1937 in Dade County, Georgia to the late Jack and Lelia Trotter. He was educated in the Duval County Schools and graduated from Stanton Vocational School. He was employed with Warren Brothers as a Line Leveler. He was a faithful and dedicated member of All People International Church, Inc. under the leadership of Bishop Arthur T. Jones.
God saw fit to send His angel of death into the room of Deacon John Charles Trotter with its love and tender care to relieve him from the troubles of this world. On Tuesday, October 15, 2019, Deacon John Charles Trotter entered into his eternal rest to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Pinckney Trotter; parents, Jack and Lelia Trotter; brothers, Theodore Roosevelt Trotter, Ronald Trotter, Nelson Trotter, Michael Trotter and Edward Trotter; and sisters, Cora Bell Trotter and Annie Will Trotter Thomas.
Deacon Trotter leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted son, Frederick B. Trotter; grandchildren, Adrain Kennard Trotter and Adrain Lamont Black (Natalie); six great grandchildren; brother, Robert Trotter (Lucille); sisters, Katie Mae McClain, Inez White, Irene Rickerson, Mary Jane Morris and Mary Francis Trotter; in-laws, Francela Trotter and Sherry Trotter; a loving and devoted friend, Catherine Mason; and host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and many sorrowing friends.
