A Time To Be Born: On Thursday, September 26, 1968 Granzie and Mariah Whigham were blessed with the birth of a beautiful baby girl Donna Patrice Whigham at Duval Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. After her birth there world was forever changed with this happy, always smiling baby girl.

A Time To Live: Donna’s early childhood was lived in Lessie, FL (Nassau County). She was reared in a Christian environment and baptized at Mount Horeb Baptist Church at a young age.  She attended Fernandina Beach High School. She moved to Jacksonville as a young lady in 1988 and remained a resident there until her demise. She worked briefly in Dietary at Hart’s Harbor Nursing Home in Jacksonville, FL.

A Time To Mourn: She was preceded in death by her brother, Keith Melton; grandparents, Lucious and Mattie Whigham, Rosa Lee Washington, and Ruth Cooper; and many other relatives and friends.

A Time To Be Happy: She was endowed by the Creator with the uncanny ability to be the life of the party. She had the gift of bringing people together and turning any dull event into the liveliest of moments.  Family reunions, birthday parties and any gathering was not complete until Donna made her fashionably late appearance.

Her greatest joy in life were her children, Dianna, Lil Rick, Jarvon and Keonna.  It’s because of theses 4 children she was overjoyed and blessed with her heartbeats and greatest loves her grandchildren, Denard, Devron, Devion, and Kaden.

A Time To Sleep: On Sunday, December 16, 2018, the life of the party, the peace in confusion, the joy of the family Donna Patrice Whigham stepped from time to eternity. She answered the Master’s call as her time on this earth came to an abrupt halt.
