Dr. Georgina M. (Grant) Only

Mrs. Georgina Only departed this life on Saturday, June 8, 2019. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Roy Grant and Claudina Grant. She attended high school in Key West, Florida and went on to receive her Bachelors and Master’s degrees from Florida State University.

Mrs. Only earned her Doctoral degree in Theology from Jacksonville Theology Seminar. She was employed by the Department of Children and Family as a Paralegal for over 10 years before going into private sector.

Mrs. Only was a member of The Bethel Church where she sung to the glory of God in the Bethel Choir as an Alto for several years. She was a member of the Jacksonville Paralegal Association and a member of the Toastmaster. Gina served on the Epicurean Modeling Troop at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU).

Gina married her best friend, Juwanna Only; her three stepchildren, Xzendia Only, Zaraphon Only, and Yazmine Only; grandchild, Juwan Brown; her mother, Claudina Grant; brother, Calvin Grant (Jerri); mother-in-law, Matchley Only; and a host of a nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family and friends.
