Edith “Sister” Graham departed this life on Saturday December 9, 2017. She was born on March 25, 1934 in Jacksonville, Florida to Mack and Minnie Ezell. She was a native of Jacksonville who graduated from New Stanton High school in 1955 and was a member of Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church since childhood. She faithfully attended and expressed her faith in Christ until her illness prevented her from attending.
She was a woman of many gifts who exemplified them through her capacity to serve and care for others. She had a giving nature, a loving spirit and never turned down anyone in need. She was also an excellent homemaker, cook, and had a passion for gardening.
Edith married Norman Graham on January 11, 1955. Edith was preceded in death by her parents, and older brother Herman Reed.
Edith leaves to cherish her memories a devoted husband of 62 years, Norman Graham; two sons, Harry Graham (Deborah) and Oliver Graham; one daughter, Wendy Dickerson (Wayne) all of Jacksonville, FL; seven grandchildren, David Graham, Cory Graham, Braina Graham, Gerrard Graham, Rashad Graham, Jayla Dickerson and Jaslyn Dickerson; five great-grandchildren, Gerrard Graham Jr., Rashad Graham Jr., Ryan Graham, Genesis Graham and Jovan Jenkins II; five brothers- in-law, Nathan Graham (Ruth), Theo Graham (Beverly), Winfred Graham and Herbert Graham; three sisters- in-law; Cynthia Small (Wilbert), Shirley Joyner and Yvette Barnes (Richard); three aunts, Mrs. Frances Vann, Mrs. Lurena Smith and Mrs. Mary Jane Graham; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
