Ethel Lee Clements

Mrs. Ethel Lee Clements was born April 12th 1938 to the late N.E Rutledge Sr. and Essie Mae Rutledge in Phenix City Alabama. She was educated in the Phoenix City public school system. She was united in holy matrimony to James M. Clements Sr. on September 23, 1954. From this Union 4 boys and 3 girls were born. She loved her family and enjoyed singing, cooking, and taking care of others. 

Ethel made her peace with the Lord and surrendered her life over to him. Ethel had a kind and loving heart and readily helped others in the times of need.

Ethel was preceded in death by her brother, William Rutledge; and her sister, Mamie Abercrombie, Lizzie Rutledge and Ruthy Mae Green. 

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving children, James Clements, Jr. (Yvonne), Frank Clements, Sr. (Norma), Sylvester Clements, Kelvin Clements (Tammy), Lena Smith and Jacqueline Williams; two brothers, N.E. Rutledge, Jr. (Lucy) and Arthur Lee Rutledge; and a host of numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
