I, Kossia Walter Scott was born on September 11, 1980 to my loving parents Harold and Theodora Scott in Jacksonville, Florida. I graduated from William M. Raines High School where I excelled in both academics and sports. I was a part of the 1998 Vikings State Championship football team but I was known best for my achievements on the baseball field. When the bases were loaded, they called me in to knock it out of the park. Homerun! I continued my education and attended FCCJ completing two years of post-secondary education.
I later went on to marry my beautiful wife, Erica, and together we were blessed with two sons. I also have an older son that completes our family. I was employed with the United States Postal Service for 13 years and later went to further my career in mail services at Pitney Bowes as Facilities Manager. My church home is Household of Faith Church where Bishop Lewis Williams is my Pastor. I have many things that I enjoy doing, coaching football and baseball, singing, and playing with my boys but riding my motorcycle is my favorite pastime.
On Wednesday, January 1, 2020, I Kossia Walter Scott went home to be with my Lord and Savior.
I leave to mourn my passing but to cherish my memories, my loving and devoted wife, Erica Scott; my adoring children, Jordan Scott, Kenton Scott, and Karsten Scott; my wonderful parents, Harold and Theodora Scott; my caring siblings, Gwen Scott-Blouin (Thomas), Catrina Stewart (Stanley), Harold Milton Scott (Kayla), and Selena Gardner; my in-laws, Fred and Marnessia Walker; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
