Lillie Mae Grant

Mrs. Lillie Mae Grant was born on June 19, 1929 to the union of Sandy and Exie Thomas in Meridian, Mississippi. She was the fourth of four children, all of whom preceded her in death. She attended St. Joseph Catholic School. 

Lillie married L. C. Grant on February 16, 1951. She was a homemaker where she cared for her husband and loving family. She accepted Christ at an early age at Fifth Street Baptist Church where she sung in the choir and was on the Usher Board. She later moved to New Jerusalem Baptist Church and served until her health declined and she relocated to Jacksonville, Florida. She loved cooking and keeping a clean house.

Lillie Mae leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband of 65 years, LC Grant, Sr.; one son, Leslie Grant, Jr. (Stephanie); one daughter, Orelia Bell (Johnny) of Jacksonville, FL; she also leaves her memories with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends in the Meridian and Jacksonville area communities.
