Louvern Williams departed this earth and peacefully went to glory Tuesday, July 31, 2018. She was born to the late Lemon and Annie Mae Walker on January 16, 1946 in Collins, Georgia.
Louvern graduated from Tattnall County School in Tattnall County. She was an active member in the Christian community. Louvern served on the Southside Ushers Board in Jacksonville, FL for more than 30 years and was a lifelong member of Faith Temple Fellowship Ministries. She communed with the Lord daily. Louvern was a devoted mother and a virtuous and praying woman.
Family and friends were Louvern’s passion and delight. She was blessed with a small and loving family. Louvern married her best friend Predolia Williams Jr. and together they raise two beautiful girls with patience, discipline, and humility. From the very beginning, she dedicated her children to God and encouraged them to explore the beauty of the Gospel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Predolia Williams, Jr.; her parents; and five siblings, Bill Walker, Lemon Walker Jr, Arlinda Kendrick, Emma Ross, and Girtha McKinney.
Louvern is survived by her daughters, Latrese Hargrave (Kevin) and Danielle Williams; and her sons at heart, Predolia Williams, III (Gail) and Genius Williams; four grandchildren, James Taylor, Chyna Wilson, Reshaun Perry, and Lorenzo Perry; three sisters, Ola Pearl Hocker, Mary Boyd, and Nella Miller (Darryl); and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
