Marian Margarett Brown

Marian Margarett Brown was born on November 4, 1943 in Daytona Beach, Florida to Rudolph Atkins, Sr. and Catherine Atkins.

Marian slept away peacefully on Sunday, December 30, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph Atkins, Sr. and Catherine Steplight; brothers, Rudolph Atkins, Jr., Leon Steplight, Leroy Harrell and Alvin Harrell; and sisters, Maryann E. Atkins and Brenda Harrell.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, stepmother, Bernice Atkins; special friend, Roosevelt Parker; three daughters, Karen Porter Brown (Vincent), Carmelle Brown and Lennette Sherae Brown all of Jacksonville, FL; two sons, Willie Porter (Valorie) of Orlando, FL and Purcell Porter (Brenda) of Franklin, VA; three brothers, Charles Atkins, Sr. of Tallahassee, FL, Calvin Atkins of Daytona Beach, FL and Bernard Harrell of Charlotte, NC; one sister, Paula Harrell-Brunson (Les) of Durham, NC; 22 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
