Myrtice Yvette Nesmith

Myrtice Yvette Nesmith was born in Jacksonville, Florida on August 12, 1956 to her parents, Annie Bell Hunter and Frank Hunter. She was the youngest of 11 brothers and sisters. She attended High School in Chicago, Illinois. She later moved back to Jacksonville, Florida where she met and married her husband, Earnest Nesmith.

Myrtice most cherished moments was spending time with her kids and grandkids. She also enjoyed doing God’s works in her church; watching ministry programs on television and listening to gospel music on her radio. She helped anyone in need, she was a wonderful mother and a loving grandmother.

Sister Myrtice Nesmith was called home to sleep peacefully in the arms of Jesus on Monday, May 28, 2018. She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Bell Hunter; father, Frank Hunter; and her brothers, Eugene Campbell, Freddie Hunter, Johnnie Lee Hunter and Devone Hunter.

Sister Nesmith leaves behind her husband, Earnest Nesmith; four sons, Loundreikus Hunter (Mary), Marshaun Hunter, Anthony Smith and Lorenzo Simmons; one daughter, Shaunteal Hunter (Samuel); 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; three sisters, Jeanette Arnold, Frankie Price and Emma Taliaferro (Willie); three brothers, Nehemiah Hunter (Betty), Theodore Hunter and Lorenzo Hunter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives, church family and many sorrowing friends.
