Nathaniel “Nate” Nickerson was born on December 5, 1955 to the late Donna Mae, Dannie Mae and Walter “Bud” Nickerson.
Nate attended the public schools of St. Lucie County. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his beloved wife “Princess”, his kids and grands and great grands; he also loved to go fishing with his fishing buddies.
On Friday, March 8, 2019 Nate gave up the fight realizing he had finished his life here on earth. With family at his bedside reading bible scriptures he entered into the presence of the Lord.
Nate leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 17 years, Norma “Princess” Nickerson; children, Nathaniel “Sugar Bear” Nickerson, Kenya Pough (Zhivago), Tanya Key-White (AL), Dannie Mae Nickerson, Clydie Mae Nickerson, Cornelius Kimmons (CeCe), Mary Reed (Curtis), Margarite Williams and Bridgette Heflin; grandchildren, Akevia Pough, Xavier Pough, Z’Kya Pough, Izayyah Pough, LaDavious Nickerson, Anthony Ware Jr., Vincent Singh, Derrian Joseph, Josel Joseph, Kymberly Sykes, Latharianna Key, Lotharielle Key, Jazmine Coleman, Cornelius Kimmons Jr., Cornelius Kimmons II, Cornelius Kimmons III, Nigeria Kimmons, Pearl Reed and Curtis Reed Jr.; seven great grands, Ray’Keah Furley, Rashaud Finley Jr., Trinity Nickerson, Cortasia Mosley, Corey Mosley, Promise Tolbert and Zy Walker; sisters, Annie Lee Harriell, Vera Blue, Dorothy Williams, Lillian Niblack, Geraldine Reddick, Delores, Betty Jean, Thomsina White, Lillian and Barbara Ann; brothers, Ira “Teddy” Nickerson, Willie “Pee Wee” Nickerson, David Nickerson, Alphonso Nickerson, Uncle Jr., Oscar, Eddie and Leroy; special cousin, Victor Smiley; special friend, Diana Robinson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
