Nicholas Lathel Mitchell

Nicholas Lathel Mitchell entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 23, 2019. Nicholas affectionally known as “Nick” was born on October 4, 1988 to parents, Nicole McKnight and Anthony Mitchell in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended the public school in Nassau and Duval Counties.

Nicholas was a beautiful and kind spirit person. He easily made friends with his outgoing personality. A true comedian, he kept his loved ones laughing. Nick also had a very caring nature, he was especially fond of the elderly, animals and babies. His hobbies were music and fashion. Nick had a very special bond with his great grandmother, Juanita Jones “His Nanny”.

Nick leaves to mourn his passing but to cherish his memories, his mother, Nicole McKnight; fathers, Anthony Mitchell and Ron Melton (Kariba); siblings, Benin Melton, Ebony Melton, Jayla Mitchell, Anthony Mitchell, II and Nigel Mitchell; maternal grandmother, Betty Hamilton; maternal great-grandmother, Juanita Jones; paternal grandparents, James and Marva Mitchell; aunts and uncles, Anita Jackson, Shonna Wells (James), Gregory Mitchell, Jamie Mitchell, Steven Jones, Tyrone Jackson and Johnny McKnight; favorite cousins, Jasmine Smith and Nesheika Roberts; close friends, La’Quanda Rose, Shantaye Brown, Ricky Williams, Jasmine Graham and Juanetta Anderson; and a host of cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
