Rosalyn Viola Chatmon-Randolph was born on April 20, 1945 born to Julia Graham-Chatmon and Solomon Chatmon in Jacksonville, Florida. She received her education in the local schools of Duval County and went on to attend Florida Community College of Jacksonville. She was married to Donnie Randolph, Sr. (deceased). She was employed throughout her lifetime as Certified Nursing Assistant in various doctor’s offices and hospitals. She was a faithful member of Southside Church of God In Christ and served as a Prophetess on the Missionary Board, a member of the Christian Women Council and active in Bible Band. Her past time hobbies included reading and walking. She loved reading the Word of God.
Prophetess Randolph transitioned on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at St. Vincent’s Community Hospice. Those who preceded her in death are her mother, Julia Graham-Chatmon; father, Solomon Chatmon; spouse, Donnie Randolph, Sr.; and four siblings, Theodore Demps, Naomi McCrary, Clarence Demps and Johnny Chatmon.
Those left to cherish are her children, Donnie Randolph, Jr., Dave Randolph (Michelle), Karen Matthews, Bernadette Odom, Herbert Randolph (Tina), Darwin Randolph, and Gary Randolph; grandchildren: Carl Rickerson, Jr., Bruce Matthews, Jr., Peach Rickerson, Jeremiah Matthews, Tyrone Randolph, Ashton Copeland, Vania Randolph, Lalani Randolph, Joy Brown, and Sheridan Randolph and Darwin Randolph, Jr.; a host of great-grandchildren; her siblings include, Katherine Demps, Charles Demps (Elizabeth), Hiram Chatmon, and Theresa Chatmon-Stanford (Robert); and she also leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, two loving friends, Missionary Rhodan Mercer and Missionary Delores Murray; and a host of other sorrowing friends.
