Redell Felton

Redell Felton beloved daughter of Mrs. Isabelle (Liz) Felton and the late Mr. Robert Felton was born in Jacksonville, Florida on August 24, 1954. She attended the Duval County Public Schools.

Redell was a woman with a big heart and a quiet humble spirit. She touched many hearts and raised many kids. She was a mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, niece and a great friend to many. She enjoyed doing her puzzle books, eating her green jolly ranchers and Mr. Goodbars; and listening to James Brown.

On Saturday, November 30, 2019 she was called home to be with the Lord. Redell was preceded in death by her father, Robert Felton; and sister, Tonya McLeod.

Redell leaves to mourn her passing but to cherish her memories, her children, Sherishia “Turkey” Peterson (Charles) and Charlie “Muffy” Felton (Alpha); grandchildren, Dominque “Nique” Peterson, Mo’Nique “Precious” Peterson and King Felton; mother, Isabelle Felton; siblings, Elizabeth Felton, Felicia Butler (Kenneth), Salena Bartley and Angela Kearse; a special thanks to the following friends that were always there for her, Robin Genes, Jackie Harden, Sammie Jackson, Margaret Russ and the late Joann Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
