Rodney Dean Williams

Rodney Dean Williams was born in Jacksonville, Florida on November 7, 1956 to the late Joseph Williams and Ruth Beauford. He educated in the local schools and graduated from Duncan U. Fletcher.

Rodney was a commercial fisherman of Mayport for many, many, many years. He was also a longshoreman for a short period of time and owner and operator of his business “Mayport Seafood Express” in which he had by his side, his favorite nephew, Lance Beauford to whom gave him the nickname “Unk”.

Rodney was preceded in death by his brother, Oscar Beauford; sisters, Veronica Noble and Janice Taylor.

He leaves to cherish his memories his daughters, Twalita, Donishea, Shayla and Alisha; his long term “sweetie” (as he called her), Barbara Searcy; sister, Verdell Jackson (Lawrence); brothers, Leroy Beauford (Marva) and Joseph Williams; grandchildren, Tambria, Timothy Jr., Montavian, Gershand and Cordarius; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and friends.
