Ronald Lee Grant was born on February 14, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to Albert Grant and Margaret Johnson Grant. He graduated from Central High in Detroit, Michigan. Right out of high school, Ronald enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, as a Field Radio Operations Course Map and Aerial Photo Reading. He received an honorable discharge along with Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Navy Unit Commendation Medal. Ronald continued his education and received a Master’s for Applied Science at the Universal of Detroit.
On July 26, 2002, Ronald Lee Grant married his wife, Theresa Darlene Darling. Ronald retired from Talk America as a Manager Engineer. He attended Remnant Worship Center. Ronald’s hobbies were fishing, chess and collecting telescopes.
On October 16, 2019, God called his son Ronald Lee Grant home. Leaving to cherish his memories is a loving wife, Theresa Darlene Grant; a brother, Leon Grant; a sister, Paulina Grant-Cotton; one son, William Grant; four daughters, Tamika Tyrus, Demetrice McClendon, Ulyssa Hancock and Lekeisha Brooks; six grandsons, Octavias Crosby, Sencerre Grant, P’nia Thomas, Myles Hancock, Meguel Norton and Kayden Brooks; seven granddaughters, Bre’anne McClendon, Marissa Snype, Kayla Brooks, Miracle Brooks, A’Miya Brooks, A’Relle Brooks and Patience Brooks; five brothers-in-law, Daniel Brooks (Debra), Jimmy Brooks (Jackie), John Brooks, Sr. (Lisa), Richard Brooks (Nicole) and Terry Brooks (Roxanne); three sisters-in-law, Janice Williams (Joe), Shirley Cunningham and Victoria Brooks (Vincent); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
