Roney O’Neal, Sr. Obituary

Roney O’Neal Sr. was born the 7th child out of 11 children to the late Bobby Lee O’Neal, Sr. and Thelma O’Neal on December 9, 1962 in Miami, Florida.

Roney was a member of New Beginnings Outreach Ministries. He attended Miami and Jacksonville local schools and graduated from Job Corp. in Jacksonville, Florida. He was well known on the Southside as “Hitler” and loved making everyone laughed with one of many famous quotes “I’m witcha when ya right”. However, his greatest accomplishments were giving his life to Christ on October 20, 2019 and being a great Father to his five children.

God saw fit to send his angel of death into the house Roney O’Neal, Sr. with its love and tender care to relieve him from his troubles of this world. On Sunday, November 3, 2019, Roney O’Neal, Sr. entered into his eternal rest to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Lee O’Neal and Thelma O’Neal; and his brothers, Tyrone O’Neal & Elry Neal.

Roney leaves to cherish one daughter, Cherrelle O’Neal; four sons, Roney “Spike” O’Neal, Jr., Bobby Lee O’Neal (Venita Thomas), Ronnie O’Neal and Rondarius O’Neal (Keandra Lowry); five granddaughters, Unique Walker, Ronni O’Neal, Ra’Nya O‘Neal, Destinee Spratling and Journée Spratling; five brothers, Carl Neal (Elaine), Wayne O’Neal (Fran), Gregory O’Neal (Nona), Reginald O’Neal and Robert O’Neal (Kathy) of Albany, Georgia; three sisters, Cheryl Minatee, Felicia Bryson (Robert) and Patricia O’Neal; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
