Rose Irma Pryer (Toussaint) was born in Port-au Prince, Haiti on May 6, 1953. She was born to Joseph and Marie Michele Lorquet. She received her primary education at Erasmu Hall School in 1972. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business from Strayer University. She was newly married to Carlo Toussaint. Rose enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1972 and was honorably discharged in 1981 after 11 years of outstanding service. After leaving the Marine Corps, Rose entered the Federal Government and retired as a Contract Specialist after 33 years of faithful service in May 2014.
Rose was a member of Destiny Ministries. She was also a member of the Women Marine Association. She had a passion for fashion. She was the creator of the Ecstasy Modeling Group and for many years presented fashion shows on the many Military bases to sold out audiences. Her fashion shows were not just a show but an experience. Rose also loved to cook her native Haitian cuisine for family and friends. Rose loved God and one of her passion was to help, give and encourage those in need knowing they/we are all His children.
On Tuesday, December 11, 2018 she was call home to be with the Lord at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marie Lorquet; and siblings, Harry Douge, Eddy Lorquet and Frank Lorquet.
She leaves to cherish her memories, spouse, Carlo Toussaint; daughter, Chantel Fuller; grandchildren, Cameron Mosley and Coryn Fuller; siblings, Carol Lorquet (Mary) of Jackson, MS, Yolaine Eddington of Las Vegas, NV, Marie Gladys, and Adrien Armand (Patrick) of Fontona, CA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
