Yvonne Veronica Persaud

Mrs. Yvonne Veronica Persaud also known as June, “the Queen” was born the youngest children of nine to the late Lucille Murray and Vernon Clarke on February 5th 1937 in Berbice, Guyana (South America).

Yvonne graduated from Smith Church School and immediately married Harold Hari Persaud on December 17, 1954. In their 64 years of marriage, each day was like the first.

Yvonne was a loving wife, homemaker, mother, and grandmother. Extremely caring, forever loving and giving person, if you met her, you had no choice but to love her.

Yvonne migrated to the United States of America with her husband on April 8, 1984, relocating to Jacksonville Florida.  After a while Yvonne and her husband Harold became employed with Dura Industries of Jacksonville, until they both retired to enjoy life and her family.

Yvonne had a passion for cooking and caring; she was a perfectionist with every endeavor, love hard, no room for failure or excuses not to succeed.  Yvonne enjoyed long drives, sightseeing, traveling and movies, yes she loved movies.

Yvonne visited the paradise in her sleep and decided she wanted to stay with the Lord. 

Leaving to cherish her memories is her loving beloved husband, Harold Hari Persaud; children, Sangerine Rose (Ian), Donnap, Richardo (Teresa), Andre (Chandra), Debbie, the late Carlos (Phelp) and Harriet (Precious); Yvonne was blessed with so many grandchildren, Shawn, Niko, Odella (Donald), Haresh, Andre Jr. (Robin), Jorrel (Linda), Nigel, Errol, Nerrisa, Rico, Tommy, Sunney, Refino, Teven and Marques; her great grands all had their special names customized by the Queen; her siblings, Joe Clarke and Nellie Houston; and a host of nieces, nephews, so much family, relatives and friends who wore the sisters and brothers crowns.
