Mr. Aaron McFadden, a devoted servant, patriot, and beloved member of the Jacksonville community, passed away peacefully at the age of 82. Born on May 6, 1943, in Jacksonville, Florida, he was the cherished son of the late Mr. Johnnie McFadden, Sr. and Lillian Wilcox McFadden.
Aaron was a proud graduate of Stanton Institute, Class of 1960, an institution that later became Stanton High School in 1968. With a strong sense of duty and a heart for service, Aaron enlisted in the United States Army on July 6, 1970. He honorably served one tour, demonstrating courage and commitment to his country.
Following his military service, Aaron continued his dedication to public service as a government employee. His distinguished career spanned over 30 years at the U.S. Pentagon, where he retired with honor and respect from his colleagues and community.
A man of deep faith, Aaron was a faithful member of Holy Temple Church of God in Christ (C.O.G.I.C.), under the leadership of the late Bishop C. D. Kinsey. His spiritual walk was marked by humility, reverence, and a quiet strength that inspired those around him.
Aaron is preceded in death by his loving parents and ten siblings, Grace, Annette, Regina, Gussie, Ellen, Daniel, Quincy, Jack, Bennie Lee and Johnnie, Jr. He now joins them in eternal rest.
Aaron McFadden leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
