Alice Gwendolyn Curry

Alice Gwendolyn Curry affectionally known as “Gwen” was born on July 9, 1950 in Palatka, Florida to the late Alice and Jessie Wilson. She attended the local schools.

Gwen worked for Bellsouth for 25 years. She grew up at Mount Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church in East Palatka, Florida and Shiloh Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. Gwen liked to cruise, sing and crochet.

On Monday, January 3, 2022, our Heavenly Father called Alice Gwendolyn Curry home. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Wilson; father, Jessie Wilson; brother, Jessie Wilson, Jr.; and daughter, Yolanda Nesbitt.

Gwen leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Heather Edwards; sons, Marvin Curry and Aubrey Curry; six granddaughters; three grandsons; special friend, Angel Wilson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
