Alvin Jayson Stribling was born October 1, 1957 in Albany, Georgia to the late Lloyd T. Stribling, Sr. and Mildred D. Stribling. He went home to be with the Lord peacefully on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Eric W. Stribling.
Alvin was united in Holy Matrimony to Anna Marie Stribling and they shared three children, Keith Bailey, Kevin Bailey and Kevin Wright.
At the age of 18 Alvin joined the United States Airforce where he was a Paralegal Craftsman for 22 years. After serving with the United States Airforce Alvin had the opportunity to work with one of the largest Law Firms in Jacksonville, Farah and Farah as a Paralegal and office Disability Adjudication Review SSA.
Alvin was a member of Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church. He was a past Master and Former District Deputy Grand Master of J. S. Coppock #190 (Free and Accepted Masons, Prince Hall Affiliated). Alvin enjoyed basketball, baseball and coach the youth teams in the sports he and his wife loved.
Alvin leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Anna Marie Stribling; three sons, Keith Bailey (ReAda), Kevin Bailey and Kevin Wright; grandson, Miles Bailey; siblings, Lloyd T. Stribling, Jr. (Dennice), Gregory A. Stribling (Cynthia), and Ronald A. Stribling; mother-in-law, Sarah Lamar; brother and sisters-in-law, Fernando Lamar, Sharon Lamar, Patricia Lamar, Pauline Lamar, Brenda Cooper, Linda Brown, Ernest Brown, Tammi Dreher, Denise Lamar; brother, Carey Dreher; special names, Rod Cheatham, Lenwood Sturge, Arthur Crawford, Gary and Renee Dawson, Kevin and Deborah Dubose, Tony Jones, James and Beatrice Andrews, Norma Davis, Kenny Newberry, Gerald and Valerie Atwater, Shaka Richardson (Caregiver), Tambra Hidleburg (Caregiver) and his Masonic Family; and a host of nieces and nephews.
