Andrew Levi Williams, Sr.

Mr. Andrew L. Williams was born April 12,1961, to the late Oliver C. Williams Sr., and Sally Moore Williams, in Allendale, South Carolina.

Andrew later moved to Jacksonville, Florida with his family where he attended Samuel Wolfson High School. He began his career in construction working as a pipe layer for various companies in the Jacksonville area, where he retired after thirty years working in that field. He was currently employed at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club for the last six years.

Andrew met and married the late Mrs. Cheryl L. Williams and had one child, Andrew L. Williams, Jr. from their union.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Hicks Jr., Cleveland Hicks and Oliver C. Hicks Jr., and sister, Ernestine Graham.

Andrew leaves to cherish his memory, his fiancée, Laura J. Johnson of twenty years; his son. Andrew L. Williams Jr.; his brother, Larry Williams (Vivian); sister, Albertha Drayton (Marion); godsister, Liza Flowers aka “Woodie”; sisters-in-law, Patricia Hicks (Carter), Andrea, Barbara and Tracey; brothers-in-law, Eric, Milton, Raymond and Sylvester; stepsons, Marcus, and Isaiah; best friends, Essie (Andrew Evans); and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
