With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of our beloved Annette Baker, who departed this life on Monday, April 14, 2025.
Annette was born on December 7, 1960, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Winton and JoAnn Baker. From an early age, she exemplified strength, grace, kindness, and a deep faith that became the foundation of a life filled with purpose, generosity, and love.
A proud graduate of Englewood High School, Annette was a hardworking and devoted mother who consistently put her family first. She provided her children with unwavering dedication and unconditional love. As a grandmother, she cherished her time with her beloved grandson, Bryshaun, who held a very special place in her heart. Annette touched every life she encountered with warmth, genuine love, and compassion.
Annette was a frequent visitor of Rhema Harvest Ministries for many years. Annette found joy in cooking and baking. Above all her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.
Annette was preceded in death by her parents, Winton and JoAnn Baker; and her sister, Constance Baker.
Annette leaves to cherish her memories her loving daughters, Sheena Scott and Ebony Scott; loving grandson, Bryshaun Hydlebeerg; loving nieces, Joelynn Goodman, Jolisa Goodman, Jackie Goodman, Jamie Goodman, and Ja'niyah Goodman; loving nephews, Johnny Morris and Jatavion Goodman; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, dear friends, and all those whose lives she touched with her loving and generous spirit.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that Annette is now resting in the arms of the Lord. Her legacy of love, faith, and strength will continue to live on through her family.
