Antoninette Walker Porter “Toni” was born in Jacksonville, Florida on November 29, 1965 to Rosalind Elaine Stevens and John Walker.
Antoninette loved her family. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend, whose life was marked by quiet strength and deep unwavering faith.
Antoninette grew up in Jacksonville where she was a proud member of the Ribault Trojans class of 1983. She furthered her education at FCCJ where she received her AA Degree. She was employed at Publix Warehouse for twenty years. She was a faithful member of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Jonathan Blackburn.
On Saturday, August 23, 2025 Toni peacefully transitioned to a better place. II Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight; I have finished my course; I have kept the faith. Toni was preceded in death by her grandmother, Dorece Singletary.
Toni leaves to cherish her memories, her loving daughter, Anquinetta Lashawn Marshall; son, Michael Mathis Porter, II; one grandson, Malik Porter; a devoted mother, Rosalind Stevens (Harry); father, John Walker; one sister, Charlette Greene; one brother, John Handy (Kesha); one godsister, Rosiland Bridges; two nephews, Terrell Williams and Jajuan Greene; two aunts, Marleatha Fewquay and Ida McClendon (Charlie); six uncles, Otis Lewis, James Walker (Brenda), Henry Lee, Arthur Walker, Robert Walker, and Randolph Walker (Beverly); best friend, Regina Muhammad; special thanks to the Stevens Family, Apostle Anthony Horsley, Minister Wonderlyn, Freddie and Lenora Williams and Lu Singleton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
