Arthur was the cherished son of Arthur Clarke and Dorothy Clarke, who both preceded him in death. He carried the love of his parents with him throughout his life, embodying their values of kindness and perseverance. After relocating to the United States, Arthur pursued his education with determination, attending the local school of Dade County Public Schools and later acquiring vocational training in Commercial Vehicle Driving, a skill that would shape his career.
For many years, Arthur dedicated himself to his profession as a truck driver for Allied Systems. His work was not just a job; it was a testament to his unwavering commitment to providing for his family. He was known for his strong work ethic and reliability, traits that earned him the respect of his peers and made him a beloved figure in his community.
Arthur was a devoted father, leaving behind a legacy of love through his children, Emile Hunte, Greston D. Padmore, Arthur D. Padmore, Jr., Gerald L. Padmore, Veronica L. Padmore, and Richard S. Ferguson. He cherished his role as a father and took immense pride in his family, nurturing their dreams and supporting their aspirations. His dedication to family extended to his grandchildren, and he savored every moment spent with them, always ensuring they felt loved and valued.
Although Arthur lived a life marked by hard work, he was not defined solely by his profession. He had a warm spirit and a love for his family that shone brightly in everything he did. His characteristics of compassion and generosity were evident in his interactions, and he was often seen caring for those around him. He had a unique ability to create bonds with others, leaving a positive impact on everyone he met.
Arthur’s journey through life was not just about family and work; it was also about community. He engaged with those around him, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement. His kindness rippled through his community, creating connections and fostering friendships that will endure beyond his time with us.
Arthur is survived by his loving children and a host of other family members and friends who will miss him dearly. His warmth, humor, and unwavering love will be cherished and remembered for generations to come.
As we say goodbye to Arthur, we take comfort in knowing that he is at peace. His life was a beautiful gift to all who were fortunate enough to know him, and his spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives he touched. Rest in peace, dear Arthur. You will be forever loved and missed.
