Belinda Harding Obituary

Belinda Burnett Harding, born on March 20, 1952, in Jacksonville, Florida, passed away at the age of 74 in her hometown on Thursday, April 2, 2026. Belinda was a cherished member of the Jacksonville community, known for her unwavering spirit of generosity and her dedication to helping others.

Belinda's life was marked by her commitment to her family and her passion for service. She is survived by her loving son, Derrick Harding, and daughter, Angela Orr-Ball. Also cherishing her memory are her grandchildren, Alexis Towns, Kanime Ball, Cordell Ball, Samaiah Harding, Maliah Harding, and Latrice Ball; her siblings, Anthony L. Harding, Tonya Harding, Aaron Harding, II, and Andre Harding; son-in-law, Harry Ball; daughter-in-law, Katrina Green-Harding; special cousins, Sonia Myers and Tia Myers; nephews, Anthony Harding II, Arthur J. Harding, and Cedric Harding; niece, Erica Bunton; and a host of other family members and friends who were touched by her kindness.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mattie H. Demps; father, Aaron Harding; stepfather, Theodore Demps; sister, Deborah Harding-Jackson; grandmother, Willie J. Lizzmore; aunts, Mae Willie Lee and Lillian Hall; uncle, James Lee; grand aunt, Lillian Hall; and cousins, Stephanie McEwing, Keenan McEwing, Chris Brown and Andre Brown.

Belinda's legacy of altruism and compassion remains a beacon for all who knew her. Her life was a testament to the impact one individual can have on the lives of many. She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
