Bertha Lee Knight was born in Louisville, Georgia on March 19, 1939 to the proud parents of Doretha and Robert Huntley. She received her education in the Jefferson County school system. Bertha slept away peacefully from this life on Sunday, August 31, 2025 after a decline of health. She was surrounded by her loving family during the last days of her life.
Bertha became a member of Oli of Joy Holiness Church and a member of the Evangelistic Prayer Ward Group. She enjoyed cooking, shopping for hats and the goodness and blessing of God’s everlasting mercy.
Bertha was the wife of the late Mr. George Knight. She leaves to cherish her everlasting memories, her children, Gail Manns (David), Dorothy Walden, Timothy Walden, Robert Walden (Cynthia), James Walden, Jonas Middleton and the late Ms. Delores Middleton; twenty-seven grandchildren; fifty great-grandchildren; a host of great-great grandchildren; siblings, Naomi Huntley, Suzanne Hardiman, Robert Huntley, Roosevelt Huntley, Jimmy Huntley and Willie Huntley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
