Billy Lee King was born on March 26, 1959, in Berrien County, Georgia, to Jack King and Mary Mathis King. He attended Andrew Jackson High School and later graduated from Tift County High School with the Class of 1977. Billy worked faithfully for many years with Mc-Curdy-Walden Inc., where he was known for his strong work ethic and kind spirit.
Billy was a proud member of The Bethel Church and enjoyed a life grounded in faith, family, and the things that brought him joy. He loved football, basketball, and spending time with his grandchildren, who meant the world to him.

Billy leaves to cherish his memory three loving children, Marcinya Clark, Shannon Clark, and Shauntina Clark. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Markenya Smith (Brandon), Markeysia Clark, Markeyonia Smith (Daniel), Kendra Clark, Eri’yanna Jones, Emoni’ Jones, and Keisa’ Williams.
