Bishop Frank Brandon, Jr. Obituary

Bishop Frank Brandon, Jr. was born on April 6, 1934, in Dixie, Georgia, to the late Frank, Sr. and Susie Branham Brandon. Part of a large and close-knit family of fifteen children, Frank was raised with the strong family values, work ethic, and faith that would guide him throughout his life.

He grew up and went to school in Brooks County, Georgia. He also answered the call to serve his country with a brief stint in the United States Military.

In 1955, he married Annie M. Steward. Their union was blessed with five sons, and together they built a home grounded in love, discipline, and devotion to God.

In 1953, Frank accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, a decision that would shape the course of his life and ministry. He began his pastoral career in the late 1960s, serving at two H.O.G.S.I.C. Churches: first in Lake City, Florida, and then at Mt. Moriah in Jacksonville, Florida. With a steadfast heart for the Gospel, he went on to establish Miracle Deliverance Temple in 1977, faithfully shepherding the congregation for decades. Before his retirement from pastoral leadership, he was ordained as a Bishop under the, The Last Day Miracle Deliverance Church, further affirming his lifelong commitment to the work of the Lord.

Bishop Brandon was known for his unwavering faith, passionate spirit, and dedication to leading souls to Christ. Under his guidance, countless lives were touched, transformed, and called to the Christian Walk. His ministry was marked not only by preaching the Word, but by living it—serving as an example of perseverance, and love for God’s people.

Frank leaves to cherish his memory his devoted children, Michael Brandon (Vanessa), Clifford Brandon, Steven Brandon, and Thomas Brandon; daughter-in-law, Sylvania Brandon (wife of Paul, who preceded him in death); grandchildren, Leeartis (Alisa), Monique, Paul Christopher, Michele, Bryant (Tijuan), Meagan, Zharia, and Zamirah; great grandchildren, Lelante, Charity, Bryant, Braxton, and Bryuan; one brother, Lucious Brandon (Eloise); two sisters, Mattie Campbell and Annie Ruth Major (Rocky); and a special sister-in-law, Mary Viola Steward. He also leaves behind a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and cherished friends.

Bishop Frank Brandon, Jr.’s legacy is one of faith, family, and love. His voice, his wisdom, and his steadfast example will be deeply missed, but his influence will live on in the many lives he touched.
