Obituary
Today we bow in humble submission to the will of God to thank Him for the life of Bridgette Antoinette Bryant Walker. On Saturday, September 16, 2023 she peacefully went home to be with the Lord. Her final days were spent surrounded by her children and family.
Bridgette was born to the late Annie Jones and Roy Lee Hamilton on Wednesday, May 24, 1961. She was a member of the West Nassau High School Class of 1980. Bridgette was very loving and had a generous heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Annie “Nupe” Jones and Roy Lee Hamilton; grandparents, Mary Ella Bryant and Benjamin Bryant; and siblings, Kenneth Bryant, Cassandra Bryant, Eric Bryant, and August “Pig” Melton.
She leaves to cherish her sweet memories, loving and devoted children, Dr. Rinata Tanks (Carson), Lasheka “Kecia” Bryant, and Ray Bryant; fourteen grandchildren; siblings, Betty Jean Hamilton, Gloria Jean Porter (Charles), Frankie Hamilton, Roy Lee Hamilton, Jr., Carolyn “Carol” Roberts-Wright (Curtis), Stephanie “Vet” Bryant, Ron Melton (Kariba), and Chad Melton (Susan); companion, Michael “Al” Thomas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
