Brittani Kiara Christopher was born on March 10, 1989 in Jacksonville, Florida to Tonya R. Christopher and Bobby L. Harris, Jr. She attended Paxon School for Advanced Studies and graduated from Englewood High School. She was a graduate of Tallahassee Community College and a student at University of North Florida.
Brittani was a lifetime member of Wayman Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, Southside. She was a longtime employee with The Department of Children and Family Services and was most recently employed with Bank of America. Brittani was a talented writer, a music lover, and enjoyed spending quality time at the beach.
Brittani slept away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. She was preceded in death by her younger sister, Breona Kaitlyn Harris; and paternal grandparents, Edna Harris and Bobby L. Harris, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Jakobe Smith, Jasiah Smith and Jurnee Smith; life partner, Andrew Smith; parents, Bobby L. Harris, Jr. and Tonya R. Christopher; sister, Brea K. Harris; maternal grandparents, Loretta Christopher and Emory Christopher Sr. (Doris); aunts and uncles, Shirvon Harris, Traci Roberts (Derrick), Emory Christopher Jr. (Rita), Von White, Maya Turnipseed (Maurice), Marla Godley (Michael), Gemiel Christopher and Dorian Christopher (Jesslyn); nephew/godson, Uriah Griffin; godmother, Terri Durham; as a brother, Leonard Griffin; and special friends, Ayesha Henry-Bradshaw, Jessica Pham and Christina Artis.
