Carolyn Ann Nixon

Carolyn Ann Nixon was born March 29, 1951, to Katherine & John Clanton in Sheffield, Alabama. She was a graduate of Colbert County High School. 

She confessed her life to Christ at an early age and was a blessing along with being a cheerful giver to others. Carolyn was employed by FCCJ Upward Bound Program.

Carolyn had a passion for reading, sowing, fishing and yes coloring. She was married to Clifford Anderson, she was blessed with two children, Nigel and Tiffany. Throughout her adult life she was a mother figure to so many others. 

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Katherine and John; and siblings, Johnnie Clanton, Faye Rowell and Isiah Pillar.

Leaving to cherish her love and memory, son, Nigel Anderson of Lenorah, Texas; daughter, Tiffany Woods (Anthony) of Jacksonville, Florida; loving and devoted sister, Katie Davis of Sheffield, Alabama; grandson, Kiere Anderson (Sandrika) of Decatur, Alabama; five great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
