Charles Henry Frisby, Jr., affectionately known as "Giggles," went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 25, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on January 10, 1952, in Chester, Pennsylvania, Charles was a beacon of joy and laughter throughout his life, touching the hearts of all who knew him.
Charles was the beloved son of Charles Henry Frisby, Sr. and Dorothy Frisby, who have preceded him in death. He grew up in Chester, where he attended Chester High School, laying the foundation for a life filled with hard work, community, and unwavering dedication. Following his education, Charles proudly served in the United States Navy from 1971 until 1994, completing an impressive twenty years of service, including a deployment during the Gulf War. His commitment to his country was marked by honor and courage, traits he carried into every aspect of his life.
After his military service, Charles found a new calling at Southeast Toyota, where he worked for seventeen years as a painter. His colleagues will remember him not just for his skills but for the warmth and positivity he brought to the workplace. Charles always had a smile on his face, readily sharing laughter and kindness with everyone around him.
In his personal life, Charles was a loving husband to Lena Renee Frisby and a proud father to his two children, Charles Henry Frisby, III, and Sarah Frisby. His legacy continues through them and his comforting angels, Arieyanna Cardenas and MaShawn Maple, who brought immense joy to his life. He also cherished the close bond he shared with his special friends, Reggie Wilson and David Plate, who stood by his side through thick and thin.
As we celebrate the life of Charles Henry Frisby, Jr., we remember a man whose spirit was as bright as his smile. He leaves behind a rich tapestry of love woven through a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and countless friends who mourn his loss deeply.
Charles Henry Frisby, Jr. "Giggles" will be dearly missed but never forgotten. His legacy of joy, love, and service will forever resonate in the lives he touched. Rest in peace, dear Charles.
