Christopher Lamont Morris

Christopher Lamont Morris departed this life on Saturday, May 28, 2022. He was born on the island of Barbados to the late Irvine and Daisy Morris. He was one of five siblings, Irvine Oscar Drake, Fred Tony Morris, Marston Boggie Morris, all preceded him in death and his only surviving sibling, his sister, Diana Morris Crichlow.

Mr. Morris immigrated to the United States in the late fifties and made a life for himself as an entrepreneur. He was a very successful businessman, owing two to three stores during his formative years. He was extremely talented, skillful, and creative as was demonstrated through the many items he made such as hats, bags, pillows, quilts, etc. Mr. Morris was a charismatic man with many friends who worked alongside him on many ventures.

Mr. Morris was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Rebecca Morris. He leaves to mourn his passing, his son, Michael Harewood; sister, Diana Crichlow; aunt, Doris Morris (B’dos); and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
