Cynthia Hargrove, age 63, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. She was born on June 30, 1962, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Altamese Rollins and King Hargrove.
Cynthia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, family member, and friend whose life was defined by love, kindness, and compassion.
Cynthia was married for thirty-eight years to her loving husband, Herman Fultz. Together, they built a life centered on commitment, family, and unconditional love. Cynthia leaves behind a legacy of warmth and cherished memories and was known for her caring spirit, strength, and the genuine way she supported those she loved.
She loved to cook, laugh, and bring people together. Her home was often filled with joy, good food, and heartfelt conversations. Family and friends will remember Cynthia for her warm smile, compassionate heart, and her ability to make everyone feel seen and valued. Her laughter was contagious, and her presence brought comfort and light wherever she went.
Cynthia leaves to cherish her memory of her loving husband, Herman Fultz; her children, Herman Hargrove, William Jackson, Dorothy Hargrove, Shanice Setzler, Derrick Ford, and Amir Ford; and her cherished grandchildren, Chakila, William, Derrick, Diamond, Renee, Sirdarell, Kaizer, Kayden, Christopher, De’Mani, Deliyah, Logan, Joushua, and Jaysean. She is survived by her siblings, Carolyn, Lorenzo, Sandra, Celestine, Ernest, Vickie, King, Anita, Gwendolyn, Ronald, Mike, and Sandra Newman, as well as her in-laws Sharon, Dorothy, Lavon, Rosie, John, and Jonny, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many sorrowing friends.
As we remember and honor Cynthia Hargrove, may we find peace in the memories we shared and strength in the love she gave so freely. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
