Damon Armaan Johnson was born on July 1, 1977 to David C. and Carolyn K. Johnson in Jacksonville, Florida.
Damon started attending Ephesus Jr. Academy during his pre-school age, S. A. Hill (Mama Dorma Bland) for Kindergarten, William Raines during his teen years and the Broach School of Jacksonville and FCCJ to complete his GED Program.
Damon was employed as a Framer with S. A. Robinson Construction in St. Johns County for 6 years prior to his passing. He loved his job, build new homes from St. Augustine to Fernandina Beach, Florida. He was so proud of the skills he developed.
Damon was baptized at an early age, and when his daughter, Armani was younger they were baptized together. He did have a particular church he went where he could get the word.
His hobbies were expressing his emotions on paper to deal with everyday challenges. He wrote music and rapped some of his lyrics. His last penned words were “I love God and God loves me.” on Sunday, August 16, 2020.

Staten, Kenneth Creigton and Melita D. Johnson; nieces and nephews, Angelica Staten and Kenneth Creigton, Jr.; great nephew, Zakari K. Staten; mother of his children, April Cross; uncles, Murney A. Johnson, Rushon Brooks (Angela), Myron Kelly (Amber) and Gregory Johnson; aunts, Anna Crawford, Gloria Watts and Grace K. Evans; great uncles and aunts, Vincent Taylor (Joyce), Walter Taylor (Cassie), James Davis (Elouise), Gladys Jackson and Lucretia Jones (Carl); godparents, William Mundle (Red Jack) and Rose Mundle; special friends, Mike, Paul, Lorenzo, Ricardo, George, Vedo, Samantha, Kylah, Penny and (2) Richards; and a host of cousins and friends.
