David K. Maddox

David K. Maddox, born March 24, 1948 to Loye Maddox and Marian Maddox in Buena Vista, Georgia. Mr. Maddox relocated to Jacksonville, Florida and attended Eugene Butler High School. After high school Mr. Maddox was employed with Cleaners Hangers Company with more than 35 years of dedicated service. Mr. Maddox, affectionately known as Sunny, was a huge fan of the Miami Dolphins.

The courageous life of Mr. David K. Maddox ended on Thursday, August 11, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Loye and Marian Maddox; his wife, Deborah Maddox; and his sisters, Mary Kemp, Evelene McBride and Annie B. Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, David Dixon (Deana), Marvin Maddox, and Christian Maddox; daughter, Kimya Brisbaine; devoted sister and caregiver, Barbara Tukes; sister, Mary Braswell; brother, Loye Maddox (Shirley); and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
