Deacon Johnny Johnson, Jr. Obituary

Johnny Lee Johnson, Jr. born in Dawson, Georgia on February 20, 1944 to the parentage of Johnny Johnson Sr. and Carrie B Dorsey. Johnson. He was educated in Terrell County public school system and graduated from Terrell County High School. Deacon Johnson also graduated Florida Junior College at Jacksonville, now known as Florida State College of Jacksonville.

Johnny Lee Johnson relocated to Jacksonville, Florida where he met and married the love of his life Mrs. Lucile Randolph and was married for 57 years. Johnny Lee Johnson was a member of New Galilee Missionary Baptist Church where he was ordained as a Deacon. Later to become a member of Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church where he was a devoted Deacon until his health started to fail him.

Mr. Johnson was employed by Burger Roofing, Hess Roofing, Smoke Roofing, Stevens, Ferber and Retired from Campbell Roofing.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Johnson Sr. and Carrie B Johnson; sisters, Janie Paige, Dorothy Clay, and Leola Mays; brother, Joe Nathan Johnson; daughter, Carrie Bell Johnson; and son, Terry Lee Randolph.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories are his wife, Lucile Johnson; children, Vinson Randolph, Laura Wheeler, Christine Pender (Horace), and Wanda Johnson; a host grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Eula Bonner, Johnnie Mae Thomas, Rosie Jackson, Minnie Manuel, Shirley Peters, and Jerome Johnson (Thelma); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
