Deacon Lovett Raulerson was born on February 22, 1931, in Callahan, Florida, to the late Frank Raulerson, Sr. and Irma Denefield Raulerson. He attended the Callahan School and then he traveled by the Greyhound Bus to Jacksonville to attend Stanton High School and graduate in the Class of 1950. After graduating, he joined the United States Army. He married the love of his life Narine Mitchell on September 6, 1951, and to this union, they became parents of five children. Once he was honorably discharged from the Army, he gained employment at St. Regis Paper Company, where he worked for 25 years and retired.
Deacon Raulerson was a faithful and dedicated member of Greater Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of the Late Rev. E.V. Singletary, the Late Rev. C. W. Whitten, the Late Pastor Emeritus Rev. C. J. Brown, the former Pastor Rev. Charles E. Williams, Jr. and current Pastor Rev. Dr. Reginald R. Edwards, Sr. He served as Chairman of Deacon Ministry for many years, as Sunday School Superintendent, Musician, Transportation Ministry, Plummer and a Carpenter around the Church. Deacon Raulerson a Jack of Many Trades and helped everyone that needed his help. He continue to work, attend service until his health begin to fail.
Deacon Raulerson was a faithful and dedicated member of Champion Lodge #2 of Callahan. He served as Senior Warden for 10 years under the leadership of the Late Worship Master Rev. Lathern Jones and later under Dr. Tyrone A. Blue.
Deacon Raulerson is preceded in death by his oldest daughter Kay Raulerson Edwards.
Deacon Lovett Raulerson leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving and devoted wife of 74 years, Deaconess Narine Raulerson; children: Vincent Raulerson, Carlton (Daphne) Raulerson, Majorie Fagan, Malinda Aderhold; Son-in-Law Ernest Edwards, Grandchildren: Jari, Kimberly, Kara, Jahmal, Emerson, Nicholas, Horace, TaCarla, and Corah, a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of cousins.
