Deandrea Thomas Obituary

Shederick DeAndrea Thomas was a devoted father, proud grandfather, and beloved son, born in Jacksonville, Florida. Raised in Duval County, he was educated in the local school system and graduated from Paxon Senior High School, laying the foundation for a life marked by ambition and authenticity.

A man of drive, resilience, and undeniable charm, Shederick carved his own path with confidence and a signature sparkle in his eye. He carried an unmatched work ethic that fueled his journey and lit up every room he entered with stories—vivid, humorous, and layered with wisdom.

His life didn’t always follow convention, and that was just how he liked it. He embraced each chapter with boldness, working hard, living fully, and leaving a lasting impression on everyone who crossed his path. Shederick was a force—spirited, charismatic, and unforgettable.

Shederick leaves behind a loving legacy that will be carried forward by those who held him dear. Cherishing his memory are his father, Daniel M. Anderson, and his late mother, Alberta T. Anderson; his son, Shederick DeAndrea Thomas, Jr.; and his daughters, Shenette Doyle (Laban), Erica Thomas, and Tarra Frazier (Javari). He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Shaniyah Thomas, Princia Thomas, Malonie Thomas, Charlie Thomas, Tiara Thomas, and Tamera Frazier; and his stepchildren, Shanice Thomas, Marilyn Thomas, Laura Thomas, and Andre Thomas. Among those honoring his memory are his siblings, Bridgette Walker (James), Daniel M. Anderson, Jr. (Amy), Eric Anderson, Denise Baker, and Ivory Baker; his nieces and nephews include, Nichole, Shaquille, Lafanta, Brandy, Felicia, Jessica, Daniel III, Vanessa, Peyton, Gavin, and Erin. He is also survived by his aunts, Gloria Lewis (Reginald) and Patricia Sneed; uncles, Robert Deloney (Elaine), Wilbert, Richard, Nathan, and Nathaniel; and a host of cousins, loving relatives, and dear friends continue to carry his memory in their hearts.

Shederick's journey may have ended here, but the echoes of his laughter, the power of his presence, and the lessons he left behind continues to shape the lives he touched. Though we part with sorrow, we carry his spirit forward—with love, pride, and gratitude for the time we shared. Rest peacefully, Shederick. You were deeply loved, and you will be forever missed.
