Delores Ann Patton

Delores Patton, age 64 passed away peacefully on November 22, 2022, in Jacksonville, Florida after relocating back from Ocala, Florida while battling with some ongoing health issues. 

Delores was born Delores Ann Jennings, July 20, 1958, in Pensacola, Florida, to the late Rev. James R. Jennings and the late Velma L. Jennings. Being from a Navy family she lived also in Nevada, and Rhode Island before settling into Atlantic Beach, Florida, where she attended Fletcher Sr. High School in Neptune Beach, Florida. 

Delores worked call center customer service positions, until she found her passion working as a home health companion. Delores hobbies included spending time with her family and friends, listening to music, and cooking huge meals. She had a heart of gold and was known for making everyone feel welcomed with food and a place to stay. 

Delores is survived by her brother, Richard Jennings, Sr. (Lucy); her children, Monique Talbert-Ruth (Kelvin), Da'Nisha Patton, Dei'dre Patton, and Dennis Patton Jr.; her grandchildren, Robert Talbert, Leamon Jackson III, LeNisha Jackson, Lenia Jackson, Le'Adre Ross, Leamon Jackson IV, Ekwan Randall, and Paris Patton; her great-granddaughter, RoMelah Talbert; her nephew, Richard Jennings Jr.; her god-daughter, NeKesha Smith; and a host of cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
