Dollie Mae Marcus was born on June 25, 1953, to the proud parents, George and Ella Mae Marcus in Shellman, Georgia. She attended Carver High School. She was employed as a Cafeteria Aid.

Dollie Mae Marcus went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 26, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, George and Ella Mae Marcus; sisters, Minnie Marcus, and Linda Marcus; and brothers, George Marcus, Jr., Horace Marcus, Willie Mack Marcus, Bobby Marcus, and Robert Marcus.

Dollie leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Barbara Yarbrough (Eugene) and Dorothy Fountain (David); grandchildren, Eurias Yarbrough, Theodore Pope, III, Thesha Pope, and Porcha Wyche (Coy); great grand, Lyrica Wyche; siblings, Ruthie Henry, Diane Wright, Linzie Marcus, Charlie Marcus (Joyce), Rob Marcus, and John Marcus (Mary); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
