Dwayne Anthony Howard

Dwayne Anthony Howard was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 20, 1958 to the union of Donald and Jerlene Howard. He received his education in the Detroit Public School System. Dwayne received Christ at an early age where he was baptized and sung in the choir at New Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan.

Dwayne received his certification in Plumbing from Gogebic College in Michigan. He wore a lot of hats in life. But the things he loved most was fishing and taught family and friends how to fish.

In 1982 he met Karen and later married. In 2004 Dwayne decided to move to Florida where he learned the craft of painting by his best friends, Jayson and Lorenzo and later owned his own painting company.

Dwayne lived for his family. He just wanted everyone to be happy. In 2006 Dwayne joined FFC/Impact where he and his wife Karen were baptized. In 2009 Dwayne went to bible school where he graduated in 2009. He served faithfully on the usher board from 2006 until 2022 when his health started to decline. He greeted everyone with a smile.

Dwayne Anthony Howard book of life closed on Monday, March 20, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Jerlene Howard; and brothers, Kevin Micheaux, David Howard and Sean Clark.

Dwayne leaves to cherish his memory, his faithful wife, Karen Howard; sons, Dwayne Irving, Jr., Daryll Bullard and Deandre Alexander; daughter, Deshana Jackson; step-sons, Dale Averitte and Damon Averitte; goddaughter, Neveah Harris; 18 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Selena Richardson (Greg) and Tracy Lynn; brothers, Robin Micheaux (Deborah), Charles Micheaux and Andre Micheaux (Rhonda); step-father, Henry Clark; aunts, Earlene Phillips and Juanita Simpson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
