To the Beloved Earl Jimmie Green, Jr. "EJ" was born on September 16, 1970, to the parents of Earl J. Green, Sr. and Marsha D. Purdy-Green in Jacksonville, Florida.
He was a proud William M. Raines High School Alumni. He attended Daytona Community College. He was a beloved Football Coach for Grand Park Athletic Association, hailing from Flag Street Apartments. He was gainfully employed at Tire Hub for nine years.
Earl Jimmie Green, Jr. transitioned to be with Christ on Friday, April 3, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marsha D. Purdy-Green and Earl J. Green, Sr.; grandparents, Louise P. Bell, Theodore Bell, Janice Rickerson, and Melton Purdy; and uncles, Freddy Brayboy Jr. and Anthony G. Purdy.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Dana N. Green; daughter, Kennesha N. Bronson (Ryan); granddaughter, Key'Niyah Bronson; sister, E'Lisa P. Green; brothers-in-life, Jamie Turner, Darryl Mack, Eric Maddox, and Derecke Turner; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
